Community Extensions Program (Rebranding)
In response to evolving goals and a shifting mission, the Community Empowerment Program (CEP) undertook a comprehensive rebranding initiative to strengthen its visual identity and boost community engagement. After evaluating their brand through a design thinking process, it became clear that a refreshed logo and a more cohesive brand presence were essential to align with their new focus: providing scholarships to disadvantaged, underserved, and impoverished individuals in Tucson, AZ.
In 2020, CEP pivoted to become a scholarship-focused organization. This strategic shift made it crucial for their branding to reflect the change and resonate with both existing supporters and new audiences. Our design team was tasked with redesigning their logo and developing a cohesive visual identity that would elevate brand recognition, attract donors, engage volunteers, and encourage broader participation.
The rebrand included a new logo and a complete suite of promotional materials—brochures, pamphlets, and social media assets—designed to effectively communicate CEP’s mission of philanthropy, empowerment, and community upliftment. The updated branding system was created to establish a strong, recognizable presence that inspires confidence, drives action, and emphasizes CEP’s commitment to fostering educational access and community support.

Redesign from their existing logo to a stronger more versatile mark.
